Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy" or "AUP") governs how you may access and use ChatIn ("ChatIn," "we," "us," or "our") and all related websites, features, and services (collectively, the "Service"), including AI-powered chat, text generation, and conversational tools.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy, our Terms of Use, and applicable law. We may enforce this Policy as described below, including by removing content, restricting features, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting illegal activity where required or appropriate.
Important notice: ChatIn is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with the developers or owners of the underlying AI language models made available through the Service. Use of the Service remains subject to the terms and usage policies of any third-party model providers whose models are accessed via ChatIn.
What ChatIn is for
ChatIn is a workspace for productive, responsible AI-assisted conversations — writing, research, learning, and everyday tasks.
To keep the Service useful and safe for everyone, we ask you to avoid harmful, illegal, or abusive use.
Quick rules:
- No content that harms or exploits minors. You must not use the Service to generate, share, or facilitate any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children.
- No harassment, threats, or abuse. You must not use the Service to threaten, harass, intimidate, or harm others.
- No fraud, deception, or impersonation. You must not use the Service to create forged documents, phishing content, deepfakes, or other deceptive materials.
- No circumvention of safeguards. You must not attempt to bypass filters, safety systems, rate limits, or account restrictions.
- No sexualized content. You must not create, upload, or share pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise sexualized content, including non-consensual intimate imagery and any sexual content involving minors or anyone who appears to be a minor.
- No harmful deepfakes or misuse of likeness. You must not create or share deceptive deepfakes, harmful impersonations, or non-consensual depictions of a real person in a sexual, intimate, defamatory, or otherwise compromising context.
- No unauthorized automation or misuse of third-party tools. You must not use unauthorized automation, bots, scripts, scraping tools, or third-party applications that bypass, interfere with, or misuse the Service.
Scope and your responsibilities
This Policy applies to:
- everything you submit to the Service (prompts, messages, files, instructions), referred to as "Inputs";
- everything the Service generates in response, referred to as "Outputs";
- your conduct while using the Service, including any automated usage.
You are responsible for your Inputs, your use of Outputs, and all activity that takes place under your account.
By submitting content to the Service, you represent that you have all necessary rights, permissions, or lawful authority to do so.
Your use of the Service must comply with this Policy, any applicable third-party model provider terms, and all applicable laws.
Prohibited use
You may not use ChatIn to create, generate, submit, distribute, or facilitate content or conduct that is illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or violates the rights of others. The following categories of use are expressly prohibited.
1. Child sexual exploitation and content involving minors
You must not use the Service to create, generate, distribute, or facilitate any content that sexualizes, exploits, grooms, or endangers minors, or that normalizes child sexual abuse in any form. This includes written, described, simulated, or otherwise generated content.
We may immediately restrict accounts, preserve relevant information, and report suspected child sexual exploitation to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.
2. Sexual content
ChatIn is not intended for pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise adult-only content. You must not use the Service to generate or distribute such content, including content depicting non-consensual sexual scenarios or sexual violence.
3. Harassment, threats, and abuse
You must not use the Service to harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any individual or group, to generate targeted abusive content, or to create content designed to make others feel unsafe.
4. Hate speech and discrimination
You must not use the Service to generate content that promotes, glorifies, or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar attributes.
5. Violence and graphic content
You must not use the Service to generate content depicting or glorifying graphic violence, gore, torture, cruelty, self-harm, or abuse.
6. Fraud, deception, and impersonation
You must not use ChatIn to:
- create forged, counterfeit, or misleading official documents (such as identity documents, certificates, or government-issued materials) for deceptive purposes;
- generate phishing messages, scam scripts, or other fraudulent communications;
- impersonate real individuals, organizations, or entities in a deceptive or harmful way;
- create fake reviews, testimonials, or other content intended to mislead.
7. Deepfakes and non-consensual content
You must not use the Service to generate realistic or deceptive depictions of real individuals in sexual, compromising, defamatory, or otherwise harmful contexts without their consent.
8. Misinformation and disinformation
You must not use ChatIn to generate or distribute false or misleading content that is likely to cause harm, including content that undermines public health or safety, interferes with elections or democratic processes, or materially misrepresents factual events.
9. Terrorism, extremism, and organized harm
You must not use the Service to produce, promote, or facilitate content supporting terrorist or violent extremist ideologies, recruitment, propaganda, or operational planning. You must not use the Service to facilitate any form of organized or coordinated harm.
10. Spam, manipulation, and scaled abuse
You must not use ChatIn to generate unsolicited bulk content, spam, or repetitive low-quality outputs. You must not use the Service to coordinate inauthentic behavior, mass impersonation, or artificial influence campaigns.
11. Privacy violations and personal data misuse
You must not use the Service to collect, generate, or distribute content that unlawfully discloses or compromises the personal information of others, including personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), financial credentials, biometric data, or information revealing sensitive characteristics such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or political opinions.
12. Intellectual property infringement
You must not submit to the Service, or use the Service to generate, content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
13. Security, circumvention, and platform abuse
You must not:
- attempt to bypass, probe, or exploit safety filters, moderation systems, rate limits, paywalls, or access restrictions;
- reverse engineer, extract, or attempt to infer the underlying models, weights, system architecture, or training data;
- access or use the Service through unauthorized automated means, including bots, scripts, or scraping tools;
- introduce malware, disrupt the Service, or interfere with other users' access.
14. Exploitation and coercion
You must not use the Service to facilitate grooming, sextortion, blackmail, human trafficking, or any other form of exploitation or coercion targeting any individual.
15. Platform eligibility
You may not use the Service if you are under 18 years of age, if you are located in a jurisdiction subject to applicable sanctions or legal restrictions that prohibit use of the Service, or if your account has been previously suspended or terminated for violations of this Policy.
16. Organizational and account responsibilities
If you use ChatIn on behalf of an organization or administer access for multiple users, you are responsible for ensuring that all users comply with this Policy. You must implement appropriate safeguards, including age verification where required, and must promptly report known violations.
17. Third-party model provider restrictions
The Service relies on third-party AI model providers whose own use restrictions apply in addition to this Policy. If your use violates those providers' restrictions, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access, even if the same conduct is not expressly addressed by this Policy.
Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and where permitted by law:
- remove or restrict access to content that violates this Policy;
- apply technical controls, including rate limiting or feature restrictions;
- suspend or terminate accounts;
- investigate suspected abuse and, where appropriate, share limited information with our technology providers and service partners to prevent misuse and maintain Service security;
- report illegal activity to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.

Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
